This work consists of the back covers of books from the “Life Nature Library” series, scanned and arranged by color. Between 1961 and 1965, Time-Life published a collection of 25 hardcover books. Each volume explores an important aspect of the natural world and is written for a general audience by one or more lead authors and the editors-in-chief of LIFE. Each back cover features a design illustrating the book’s theme.
